Excerpts from MevadNa Maharathee:
| |
This novel explores historical events took place during the life span of Rana Ratnasinh
(Ratansinh) who was crowned as a king of
chittod (Chittuargarh, chittodgadh),
Rana Vikaramjit and Rana Udaysinh, these three kings of
Mevad (Mewad, Mewar, Mewaar).
This is the fourth novel in the series "Mevad Itihas Shrenee" (series of
historical novels about Mevad). However all these books are individually complete in itself.
The historical facts about the brave and great warrior
Maharana Pratap who is crowned
as MevadPati (King of Mevad / Mewad / Mewar) after Rana Udaysinh (as
Maharana Pratap
was the eldest son and hence crown prince of Rana Udaysinh) is explored in the next novel.
Vanveer (or Vanvir) who have hunger for the power at much extend and crowned after
Rana Vikramjit have spreaded terror for a small time. If the great lady, the true icon
of duty and service, PannaDai (Panna Dai) was not there and haven’t scarified her own
son (for the life of Maharana Udaysinh), Maharana Udaysinh got killed in his childhood only.
Dhav (or Dhaw – The Feeder – The lady who breast feed the new born, whose mother
is either not there or incapable of breast feed the child). Panna Devi (PannaDevi)
can be considered as the glorious character of this novel.
The ruling era of all the three Maharanas mentioned, is explored in detail in this novel,
so I am avoiding it to be mentioned here.
With these words and warm regards, I am presenting this novel emphasizing
the pride of the history.
