Excerpts from MevadNo Kesari:

This
historical novel
about the Sooryavanshi (Suryavanshi) Sisodiya Rajput (Kshatriya)
Mevad (Mewar, Mewad, Mevar) explores the lifespan of eight rulers of
Chittod (Chittor, Chittaur) from Rana Hamirsinh to Rana Sangramsih.
This is the third novel in this series after my previous novels
"Jay Chittod"
and
"ChittodNee RanGarjana".
In the next novel the lifespan of four rulers will be explored,
from Rana RatanSinh (or Rana RatnaSinh) son of Rana Sangramsinh
to brave of the braves
Maharana PratapSinh
.
There are not much disputes about the ruling time and eventual facts for the
rulers of Chittod mentioned in this novel. Only a few exceptions are there.
Of course there are some differences found between the details found from the
stories based on the information provided by Daondi Vahivanchas
(the people who keep up-to-date details about the family lineages they are associated with,
and reading the same in family assemblies periodically and occasionally);
and the details found from historical monuments, the stone writing found in temples and
the praise poems. But still researchers of the history got succeed in finding the actual facts.
The efforts done by clever and genius historical experts to shift the
misplaced piece of the history in place really requires praise and appreciation.
I have tried my level best in keeping the real values of all the events in this novel.
And the times mentioned (for all the events) in this books are based on the approved research. They are

Rana SangramSinh (Sanga)

After the death of Rana SangramShih, Rana RatanSinh was crowned on the throne
of Chittod in Vikram Samvat 1564. He was a brother-in-law of the great holy soul and
divine poet Meerabai.
As per the facts mentioned by expert historian Col. Tod (Col. James Tod),
Meerabai was yuvarani (wife) of yuvaraj (crown prince) Bhojaraj (Bhojraj).
I am feeling great and very lucky that I got the opportunity to consolidate and write the
great historical facts about the Sooryavanshi (Suryavanshi) Rajput (Kshatriya)
Rana(King)s of Bharat (India). I am feeling happy to present this novel full of
bravery and flames of pride of freedom, to my large set of readers.
